Many derailleur chains use a "master link" that allows the chain to be installed and removed by hand.     These are a great pair of chain pliers for the right price. Why pay extra for a pair of Park tool pliers when these do the same job for less. Save money on the pliers so that you can spend it on more bike parts from the bikesmiths.
