Some of the old frames will not accept a 1-1/4” tire….the 1” ore almost impossible to find…so the 1-1/8 works well… don’t understand why there’s so much more money…..
I have rebuilt over 100 vintage bikes in the past 18 months....can't tell you how easy it is to install these and getting the "Package" deal helps keep my costs down too!
so hard to find this size tire these days, luckily they had it! and only $15
These tires seemed almost two big in diameter. I could not get them to fit my Mavic G40 rims.
At 40psi they would pop off the rim.
I have had no problems with other brands fitting these rims in the past.
I purchased the kenda k36 2 pack. They arrived in great condition and were easily installed. I would highly recommend these tires and would definitely purchase from The Bikesmiths again...
