Continental GP 4 Season road tires
Conti GP4S have been my go to tires for road bike riding in a metropolitan area (MSP) where the road shoulders are quite variable and prone to have puncture causing debris. I'm not a competitive cyclist, but I've read that these tires are favored as "training" tires and that's an apt description of my riding. Feel great with control confidence via the light tread (vs. slicks) on occasional loose surfaces that I encounter. The rolling feel is a noticeable step up from GatorSkins with similar puncture resistance. Highly recommended and I was also very pleased with the price, availability, and delivery from The Bikesmiths.

Years ago my bike mechanic recommended these tires. He knows I cycle 4,000 to 5,000 miles a year, and I cycle by myself. I need a flat resistant tire, one with a comfortable ride, and a tire that will last. Also, easy to get off and on the rim.
