Order arrived quickly. After putting the tube and tire on the rim, as I was placing the rim on the frame of the bike the tube blow out, luckily, I had purchased 2 tubes, I then put the 2nd tube on the rim, which held the air and place it on the frame. The 1st tube has a massive split along the valve

When it’s time to replace a worn out bike tire, it’s best to replace the old tube and wheel strip too. Since your bike has two old tires , you might as well replace the tire, tube, and strip on that one too. Don’t be lazy, be safe. Bikesmiths made it easy with a complete kit with all you need to restore rubber on both wheels. The kit price is much less than buying separately from Amazon.
